BOX TREE FARM is the family home of Mike and June Carpenter and is found on the outskirts of the tiny hamlet of Kettlebaston in the depths of rural Suffolk. The farmhouse is surrounded by fields and is totally peaceful except for the occasional tractor rumbling by.

Mike was brought up in India, joined the Royal Navy and then spent many years travelling the world finding an special affinity with the Far East, somewhere he still enjoys escaping to.

June worked for many years as an Orthoptist but now enjoys being at home and welcoming you. On arrival you will be offered tea with homemade cake or biscuits. She is a dedicated cook and so breakfast will include homemade bread, marmalade and jams all cooked on the AGA.

You may also meet one of the three Labradors or two cats or even one of their four children who have fled the nest.
